The Environmental Impact of Upcycled Art
Upcycled art is more than an aesthetic choice — it's an environmental imperative. At EcoFlowers, every piece we create diverts waste from landfills and waterways, directly reducing pollution in Rwanda.
The numbers tell a compelling story: our workshop has transformed over 10,000 kg of waste into beautiful, functional art. That's 10,000 kg of plastic, glass, and paper that won't clog drains, harm wildlife, or leach toxins into soil.
But the environmental impact goes beyond waste diversion. By creating demand for recycled materials, we incentivize better waste collection practices in communities. People who once saw plastic bottles as trash now see them as a resource with economic value.
Our production process is also designed with sustainability in mind. We use minimal energy, avoid harmful chemicals, and prioritize natural dyes and finishes wherever possible. Even our packaging is eco-friendly, made from recycled cardboard and paper.
Every eco-flower you bring into your home is a small but meaningful act of environmental stewardship. Together, these acts add up to significant change.
